The Bernina Jeans foot # 8 is especially suited for sewing straight stitched seams in tough, heavy fabrics such as denim, linen or canvas. With the Bernina Jeans Foot #8 is great for multi-layered fabrics, combined with the straight-stitch plate, its narrow needle opening, gives the needle the greatest possible stability, the flat sole of this foot makes it easier for the foot to glide over the thick layers of fabric. Bernina Jeans Foot #8 is also ideal for straight-stitching medium weight and thin materials. Please note that the new BERNINA Dual Feed only works with type-D presser feet.
