Baby Lock's Sashiko Specialty Sewing Machine has the unique ability to replicate a hand-stitched look. Sashiko is a traditional hand embroidery technique using a long needle and thick thread to create decorative topstitches. The Sashiko features a specialized needle system and adjustable stitch length and spacing settings, all used to replicate hand embroidery. A specialty stitch mode allows you to create decorative couching, braiding, cross-stitching, and attaching trims. The specialty stitch mode lets you control the stitches and spacing, which can be adjusted between 2mm and 5mm. You can also adjust the height of the presser foot for fluid, free-motion embroidery sewing. Built-in accessory storage lets you keep tools close at hand, too. Use the Baby Lock Sashiko Specialty Sewing Machine with special sashiko thread, embroidery floss, or cotton embroidery thread; 30 weight or lighter.
