This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot.

Dual Feed & Dual Feed Plus System

Elna's Dual Feed Plus System is used to move the top layer of fabric in tandem with the lower layer. This system is ideal for sewing thinner fabrics like knit, jersey, vinyl cloth, or pleather that have a tendency to shift.
