SCHMETZ BLx1 and DCx1 needle systems are used by specific sergers, overlock, cover, and safety stitch machines. BLx1 and DCx1 feature a reinforced blade and are suitable for all fabric types. These SCHMETZ Overlock needles are not compatible with home sewing machines. Machine owner's manual will specify BLx1 or DCx1 needle system.
